What trackmyprop tracks

The core objects in trackmyprop and how they fit together.

trackmyprop is a desktop app for prop-firm traders. It brings your accounts, trades, challenges, copier setup, and expenses into one local workspace.

The core pieces

  • Connections bring data into trackmyprop. A connection can be live sync or manual import.
  • Accounts are the broker-side trading accounts under a connection.
  • Challenges track prop-firm evaluations and funded accounts.
  • Phases connect a challenge step to the account used for that step.
  • Trades appear in the journal after live sync or manual import.
  • Expenses track costs like challenge fees, data feeds, software, and subscriptions.
  • Trade Copier copies a leader account to follower accounts on the same supported platform family.

Adjust your workspace

Drag the left edge of the content panel to resize the sidebar. Your width is remembered on this device. Double-click the edge to restore the default width. You can also focus the edge with Tab and use Left Arrow or Right Arrow; press Enter to reset. Command-B hides or shows the sidebar. Your profile, sidebar toggle, navigation arrows, tabs, and Sync remain in the header when the sidebar is hidden. The active tab and highlighted sidebar item show where you are. Page actions such as Customize, Share, and Add connection sit inside the page, beside its summary or above its content. Sync stays at the far right of the tab bar and remains available while you scroll. Detail pages keep their own item heading and back control so you can return to the list.

Detail sheets open beside the page, keeping the workspace visible and usable. You can work on the page while a sheet is open. Use its close or cancel button, or press Escape, to dismiss it. Opening another sheet replaces the current one. Closing it returns you to the page, without an older sheet underneath.

Open your profile menu from your name or avatar to access your account, settings, appearance, and workspace. A badge beside your name shows your plan or Testing while using testing access. Your email is blurred by default. Hover over the email to reveal it; it blurs again when you move away. With a keyboard, use the arrow keys to focus Reveal email address, then press Enter or Space. Moving focus away or closing the menu hides it again.

Choose your appearance

Open Settings → Appearance. Everything about how trackmyprop looks lives under Theme, and every change applies immediately. The preview beside the controls shows your theme in both light and dark, and hovering a palette or accent previews it there before you pick it. Your choices are remembered on this device, including on the next launch.

  • Mode: System follows your computer's light or dark setting; Light and Dark stay fixed.
  • Palette: the colors of surfaces, text, and borders. Choose from fifteen, including Onyx for true black in dark mode, Fjord for a dimmer blue-grey dark mode, Porcelain for soft cool neutrals, Sand for warm stone tones, and Midnight for ink blue. Hover a swatch to see its name.
  • Accent: the color of buttons, switches, selected controls, and focus rings. Palette accent keeps the palette's own color, or choose Blue, Indigo, Violet, Pink, or Cyan.
  • Contrast: High darkens secondary text and makes borders and input outlines solid and easier to see.
  • Corners: drag the slider from square to fully rounded.

Profit, loss, and warning colors keep their meaning in every palette and accent, so there is no green or red accent. Reset theme returns every theme setting to its default; choose Undo reset right after if you change your mind.

Where to start

  1. Add a connection for live sync or manual import.
  2. Create a challenge and link each phase to the right account.
  3. Review the journal after trades sync or import.
  4. Add expenses so ROI includes real trading costs.
  5. Set up the copier only after the source and follower accounts are connected.

Create from Add or the command menu

Choose Add in the sidebar to open the shared Create modal. Search for or choose Connection, Challenge, Payout, Expense, or Certificate. Command-A toggles the Add menu. Press it again while the menu search is empty to close it. In a text field with content, the shortcut keeps its usual Select All behavior. You can also press Command-K, then choose Create, the first command. Each setup continues inside the same surface instead of opening a separate sheet.

Press Enter or Right Arrow to continue from a selected result. Use the visible back action, Left Arrow, or Backspace to return one step. The labels above the modal show your current path, and the previous list keeps its search query and unfinished Create choices or draft. Press Escape to close the complete Create journey.

See Use the command menu for the complete keyboard and pointer controls.

Supported platforms

New live connections are open for:
