Export statement
Save a PDF of your challenge fees, expenses and payouts for any period, for your records, your accountant or a year-end review.
A statement lists every fee, expense and payout you recorded in trackmyprop for the period you choose, with totals and your net result. You can narrow it to some firms or accounts, and hide details before you share it.
Export a statement
- Open Transactions and choose Export.
- Under Period, choose All time, a year, or Custom, then set From and To.
- Optional: under Prop firms and Accounts, pick the ones to include. Leave All firms and All accounts selected for everything.
- Under Include, tick Expenses, Payouts or both. Expenses covers challenge fees, activation fees and other costs.
- Under Details and Paper, choose what the statement shows and its paper size.
- Check the preview. The line above it shows the number of pages and records.
- Choose Export PDF and pick where to save the file.
When the file is saved, Statement exported shows where it went. The statement is created on your Mac, and nothing is uploaded to make it.
What the statement includes
The statement uses the same records and totals as Transactions. It ignores the account and date selection in the sidebar, so set the period and filters in the export dialog.
| Row | When it is included |
|---|---|
| Challenge fee | Every challenge, on its start date |
| Activation fee | Once the challenge has reached Funded, active or not, on the challenge's start date |
| Expense | Expenses linked to a challenge and standalone expenses. Recurring payments only appear after you confirm them. |
| Payout | Every payout, including payouts not linked to a challenge. A refunded fee you recorded as a payout counts as a payout. |
Each row is included by its own date. A payout received in March belongs on a March statement even when the challenge fee was paid in January.
The totals at the end are Total expenses, Total payouts and Net result, which is payouts minus expenses.
- Deleted entries are never included.
- Entries linked to an account you later removed stay on the statement.
- Notes on your entries are never printed.
- Choosing firms or accounts leaves out every row that does not match, including expenses with no account. The Prop firms list also shows the companies from your standalone expenses.
Choose what the statement shows
Under Details:
- Trader name prints a name at the top. It starts with your profile name, which you can edit, or you can turn it off.
- Account numbers prints the account column. Turn it off for a copy you share.
- Currency code writes amounts as
USD 1,234.56instead of$1,234.56, which some accountants prefer.
The line under Details names the currency your amounts are recorded in. trackmyprop does not convert between currencies.
Dates and numbers follow your Mac's language settings. Paper starts on US Letter in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Philippines, and on A4 everywhere else.
The note at the end
Every statement ends with a short note. It says you generated the statement from records entered or imported into trackmyprop, that it is for information only, and that it is not an official statement from a prop firm, broker or financial institution. It also says the statement has not been audited and is not tax, accounting or investment advice.
If something goes wrong
Choose a wider period, or go back to All firms and All accounts.
Tick Expenses, Payouts or both under Include.
Under Custom, set From to a date on or before To.
Check the period and any firm or account filters. Activation fees only count once a challenge is funded, and recurring payments only count after you confirm them on the Expenses page.
Try again and save to a different folder. If it keeps failing, send feedback with the message you see.
