Activity

See every trade, note, payout, expense and connection change on one page, find any record and open it where it lives.

Activity is the record of your prop-firm work in one place: trades, notes, challenge purchases and fees, payouts, expenses, certificates and broker connections. A summary sits at the top, a year-long graph in the middle, and a searchable list of every record below it.

Open Activity from the sidebar, or press ⌘K and search for it. On Overview, the Activity widget's View activity opens the same page.

What Activity covers

Activity follows the same sidebar controls as the rest of trackmyprop:

  • Period: the summary, graph and list cover the period chosen in the sidebar.
  • Accounts: with accounts selected in the account switcher, Activity shows their trades, the challenges and connections they belong to, and notes about them. Personal notes appear only when no account is selected. With nothing selected, it includes every account, including those on paused connections. Deleted, archived and disabled accounts are left out.
  • Days and times: a trade belongs to its account's trading day, the same day the Trade journal uses. Times show in the sidebar's timezone.

Notes appear on the day you wrote them. A trade note written later names the trade's day, for example "trade on Fri, Oct 9". A day review appears on the day it reviews, and week and month reviews on the last active day of their period.

Activity never changes your records. Trades, challenges, payouts and expenses open on their own pages for editing. Notes open in a note window, so you can edit them without leaving Activity.

Read the summary

The card at the top shows eight figures for the period:

FigureWhat it counts
Total activity, Trades, NotesAll records, and how many are trades and notes
Active daysDays with at least one record
Current streak, Longest streakWeekdays in a row with at least one record. Weekends never break a streak, and today does not break it before you have done anything.
Busiest dayThe day with the most records. Choose it to jump there in the list.
Top activityThe kind of record you created most

Below the figures, the chart has two pages: Activity rhythm shows records per day or per week, and Activity by type shows the split between trades, notes, transactions and connections. Choose a dot under the chart to switch pages.

Read the activity graph

The graph shows 53 weeks, one square per day. It ends today, or at the end of the selected period when that period is in the past. Days outside the period are striped.

  • Darker squares mean more activity. The shading is spread across your own active days, so a busy year does not turn every square dark. The color is your theme accent, not a profit or loss color.
  • The graph follows the list below it. Choose the Notes tab or type a search, and only matching days light up.
  • A trade copied to several accounts counts once.
  • Choose a shaded square to scroll the list to that day. When you select a record in the list, its day is outlined in the graph.

Find a record

The list groups records by day, newest first.

  • Tabs: All, Trades, Notes, Transactions and Connections. Each tab except All shows how many records it holds, or how many match your search.
  • Search: type in Search activity to search every kind of record at once: symbol, account, firm, amount, date or words in a note. Every word must match. Esc clears the search.
  • Trades: trades in the same symbol on the same day are grouped. A trade copied to several accounts shows once, with each account's copy inside it.
  • Details: on a wide window, the selected record's details open beside the list, with Previous record and Next record. On a narrow window, use the row's actions button.

Right-click a row for all its actions, including Copy summary. When a record belongs to one account, Show only that account changes the sidebar selection to it.

If a broker connection needs attention or some data could not load, a notice at the top says what may be missing. Choose Open Live Connections or Retry.

Trades still in their quote currency show in that currency, labelled unconverted. They are left out of every net, total and win/loss count, and "N unconverted" says how many.
