Certificates
Keep payout proofs, funded-account awards and other trading certificates in one gallery, linked to the payout or challenge they belong to.
Certificates holds the images your firms send you: payout proofs, funded-account awards and other milestones. Each certificate can stand on its own, or link to the payout or funded challenge it belongs to. The images stay on this Mac.
Add a certificate
- Choose Add at the bottom of the sidebar, or press ⌘A, then choose Certificate. In the command menu (⌘K), Add certificate goes straight there.
- Choose a Certificate type: Payout, Funded account or Other.
- For a payout or funded-account certificate, pick the matching record, or leave it as Not linked.
- Choose Choose or drop image, or drop the file on it. Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP image of up to 10 MB.
- Choose Add certificate.
Linking is optional. A linked certificate shows the payout's firm, amount and date, or the challenge's firm and account size.
What each type can link to:
- Payout links to a payout.
- Funded account links to a 1 Step, 2 Steps or 3 Steps challenge that reached Funded, whether it is still active or not. Instant challenges are not offered, because they are bought funded rather than earned. Their payouts can still have payout certificates.
- Other has no link.
A payout or challenge holds one certificate. Records that already have one are not offered.
Attach proof to a payout
You can add the certificate while you record the payout. In the payout form, choose Add a certificate image and pick the file. It appears in Certificates, already linked to that payout.
When you edit a payout that has a certificate, choose Replace to swap the image or Remove to take it off. See Record a payout.
Find a certificate
The line at the top counts your certificates and how many are not linked. To narrow the gallery:
- Use the tabs All, Payout, Funded account and Other.
- Choose All links, Not linked, Payout-linked or Funded challenge-linked.
- Choose a year. A certificate's year comes from its payout date, its challenge's start date, or the day you added it.
Choose Clear filters to see everything again. Each tile shows Linked to payout, Linked to funded challenge or Not linked.
Export, replace or edit a certificate
Select a certificate to open it:
- Export PNG saves a copy of the image wherever you choose.
- Replace image swaps the picture and keeps its type and link.
- Edit details changes the type or the linked record. Choose Save changes when you are done. Pick Not linked to keep the certificate but drop its link. The image stays the same.
- Remove deletes the certificate.
Where certificates are kept
- trackmyprop keeps its own copy of each image on this Mac. You can move or delete the original file after you add it.
- Certificates are not uploaded and do not sync. Signing in on another Mac does not bring them across, so export the ones you want and add them again there.
- If you delete the linked payout or challenge, the certificate stays in the gallery as Not linked.
- Removing a certificate, or deleting trackmyprop's data from this Mac, deletes the stored image.
If something goes wrong
The tile shows Image missing and the certificate cannot be exported. Open it, choose Relink image and pick the same file again. The details and link stay as they were.
Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP file of 10 MB or less. A file whose name does not match its real format, such as a renamed screenshot from another format, is also refused. Export the image again in one of the supported formats.
It already has a certificate, it is not funded yet, it is an Instant challenge, or it was deleted. For a funded-account certificate, set the challenge's status to Funded first.
Choose Try again in the preview. If the image still does not load, choose Replace image and pick the file again.
